Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 September 2026.

The short version

LOL2ez has no accounts, no logins and no passwords. We never ask for your Riot credentials and could not use them if you gave them to us. We store public League of Legends game data that Riot publishes through their API, and almost nothing about you as a visitor.

What we store about players

When someone looks up a Riot ID, or when our hourly crawler picks up a match, we save the public game data Riot returns:

  • Riot IDs: game name, tag line, region and PUUID, so search can find players we have already seen. A PUUID is Riot's own account identifier; we store it because their API requires it to look anything up.
  • Match records: match ids, queue, patch and the per-player statistics Riot returns for that game, such as champion, kills, damage, vision and items.
  • A watchlist: if someone presses “Add to watchlist” on a profile, we save that player's Riot ID and PUUID so the crawler revisits them.

All of this is data Riot already publishes about completed games. We do not add anything to it, and we deliberately do not republish the behavioural or moderation flags Riot's API exposes about individual players.

What we store about you as a visitor

  • No cookies, and two small preferences. The site sets no cookies. It does keep two things in your browser’s local storage, both of them your own settings and neither leaving your device: lol2ez.region, the region you last chose, and lol2ez.banner.dismissed, which notices you have dismissed so they stay dismissed. Clearing site data removes both. Nothing else is kept in your browser: no history, no identifiers, and nothing about who you are.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics, for performance only. The site measures how fast pages load and how often they are viewed, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not follow you between sites or feed any advertising profile. What it reports to us is aggregate: page views and visits per page, load-time measurements, and the broad categories a request arrives with, meaning browser, operating system, referring site and country. We use it to find slow pages and to confirm the site is up. That is all we use it for.
  • Request handling and protection. Cloudflare delivers and protects this site, so it processes every request at its edge, including your IP address and user agent, in order to route it, cache it, rate limit abuse and block attacks. That is what a CDN and a firewall do. We do not build profiles from it, we do not export it, and we do not combine it with anything else.

The line we hold, and the reason this page is short: we do not keep or store personal information that is not already public. Everything retained about players is data Riot already publishes about completed games. Nothing retained about you as a visitor identifies you. There is no account to create, no email asked for, and nothing to sell.

Who else is involved

  • Riot Games: the source of all game data, via their public API.
  • Cloudflare: hosting, storage and delivery for the site and API, the firewall and rate limiting in front of both, and the Web Analytics described above.
  • Riot's Data Dragon and Community Dragon: champion and item images are loaded directly from Riot's image endpoints by your browser, so those requests are visible to Riot rather than to us. Fonts are self-hosted, so the site makes no request to Google Fonts or any other third party for them.

The iPhone, iPad and Mac app contains a placeholder advertising slot that is not live. If advertising is ever enabled, this policy will be updated to name the ad provider and describe what it collects before that happens.

How long we keep it

Match data and the Riot ID index are kept indefinitely, because historical matches are the point of a statistics site. Short-lived caches expire automatically, typically within minutes. Watchlist entries stay until removed.

Your choices

  • Leave the watchlist. Anyone can remove a player from the shared list on the Watchlist page, which stops the crawler revisiting them.
  • Ask us to remove your data. Email help@lol2ez.com with your Riot ID and we will delete your indexed Riot ID and watchlist entry, and exclude you from future crawling.

One honest limit: matches are shared between ten players, so a match you appeared in may remain in aggregate statistics even after your Riot ID is removed from the index. Those aggregates are counts by champion and patch and do not identify anyone. If you want a specific match record deleted, say so in your email and we will remove it.

Children

LOL2ez is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We hold no data that identifies a visitor's age.

Changes

We will update this page if what we collect changes, and the date at the top will change with it.
